These are the terms and conditions for registering renewing and transferring domains to and from us. Set out below is what you can expect from us and what we expect from you, along with pricing.

Important Information

UK Doman Name Registrations
We are Channel Partner Agents with Nominet UK, the UK Domain Name Authority using the tag ICENI. We can register and maintain on your behalf all of the .uk domain name types available through Nominet UK. We offer a fully managed service that differs from the usual one-stop click and buy domain registration sites
When you buy or renew a UK domain name from us, you are entering into a contract with Iceni Managed Services and with Nominet UK. You must agree to both Nominet UK and our terms & conditions.

Iceni Managed Services Terms & Conditions
You are entering into a contract with T G Skipper trading as Iceni Managed Services. Our contact information is available on the Talk to Us page, and our VAT registration number is GB435889250.
Our Commitment to You
By entering into a contract with us we guarantee to offer you a level of service that we are proud of. Our commitment to you is as follows:

  • To register new domain names with Nominet UK or other top level domain name authority in a timely fashion and to ensure domain name renewals are processed on time.
  • To ensure the information we use to register your details with Nominet UK or other top level domain name authority is as accurate as possible.
  • To bill you transparently for initial registration and subsequent renewals of your domain names at least 14 days in advance of renewal.
  • To keep safe your personal information and not disclose it to any other third parties within the bounds of our legal commitment to Nominet UK or other top level domain name authority and any applicable law enforcement agencies.
  • To respond or at least acknowledge any communication you send to us within 24 hours.

Your Commitment to Us
Your obligations to us are as follows:

  • To provide accurate information concerning the name, address and contact details of the person or company that will be the domain name registrant.
  • To provide accurate information concerning the name, address and contact details of the person or company that will be the billing contact for your contract.
  • To inform us in a timely fashion if any of the registrant or billing contacts details change.
  • To not use your domain name for any unlawful purpose, and to ensure that in registering or using your domain name you are not infringing the intellectual property rights of anyone else.

Fee Schedule

Fees and Payment
Our fees for new domain name registration will be set out within the order we take from you for initial domain registration. Our fees for renewal may vary according to any variation in the fees charged to us by Nominet UK or other top level domain name authority and will be communicated to you at least 14 days prior to your domain name renewal becoming due.
For new domain name registrations we accept payment by credit or debit card, or by direct debit. For domain name renewals we only accept payment by Direct Debit. All of our fees are subject to VAT at the prevailing standard rate.
New domain registration orders which remain unpaid after 14 days will be cancelled. Domain registration renewals which remain unpaid after 14 days past their renewal date will be cancelled.
Term
The term of your contract will be equal to the term of your domain name registration period. This will vary from 1 to 10 years according to your initial registration period or choice of renewal period. The default registration and renewal period is 1 year. Your contract will be renewed under the terms and conditions that prevail at the time of your domain name renewal and will be deemed to have been accepted by you upon receipt of payment or the passing of the domain name renewal date, whichever is sooner, unless you notify us in writing or by email before your domain name renewal date.

How to Complain

If you are unhappy with any part of the service we provide to you then you may submit your complaint in writing to us, and we will respond to you within 24 hours. You can contact us by email to tim.skipper@icenimanagedservices.co.uk or by writing to us at the address on our Talk to Us page.
Abuse
If you wish to report abuse of our services, or a domain name for which we act as an Agent then please send an email with full details of the abuse and how to contact you to abuse@icenimanagedservices.co.uk.
